Brothers of Mercy Austria (Barmherzige Brüder Österreich) receive EUCUSA Award 2024 for excellent employee orientation

On 30 September 2024, this year’s EUCUSA Award was presented during the 20th EUCUSA Summer Talks on 30.9.2024 in the roof hall of Urania Vienna. The awards have been presented on a regular basis to particularly employee- or customer-oriented companies. Prerequisites to win the award are either an above-average overall result in an EUCUSA survey, the setting of a new benchmark in the international EUCUSA comparison database or an outstanding performance in the implementation of follow-up actions.
The institutions of Brothers of Mercy Austria received the award for “excellent employee orientation 2024”. Their sixth employee survey carried out in 2024 confirmed the long-standing high level of employee orientation. Since 2009, the Brothers of Mercy facilities have been characterized by the fact that the results are taken seriously at every management level and that an effective and transparent improvement process has been able to develop from them.
The Brothers of Mercy run around 30 health and social care facilities in Austria and employ more than 8,000 people in Vienna, Lower Austria, Upper Austria, Carinthia, Salzburg, Styria and Burgenland. Following the example of the order’s founder and the motto “Do good and do it well”, the Brothers of Mercy care for people regardless of their origin, religion, gender or social status and aim to be available to all those seeking help to the best of their ability.
